mini cooper for sale
My site does not actually have any mini cooper for sale on it, but I do have a mini cooper and I know what you should be looking for when you are ready to buy used mini cooper.
The New Mini Cooper started back in 2002, with the base model the Cooper and the sporty model Cooper S. The Cooper has 115 Hp and the Cooper S has 163. The Cooper S developed more horse power because they fited a supercharger on it. It is one of the Special Few cars with a supercharger on it.
I have a 2003 Mini Cooper S. I absolutely love it. I have driven a lot of different cars and I have never driven a car that makes me feel like when I am in a Mini. I woud recommend anyone to get one. They are fun and they get good fuel economy.
You can also get a tuning kit from the factory for the first generations. It is called John Cooper Works. It costs about $4,500 to get the whole kit and it would boost your power from 163 Hp to about 200 Hp. I have never actucally driven a JCW but I was watching a T.V. show called Top Gear and they said that you could feel a lot more power. Also in a mini you loose a lot of your power when you leave 2n gear and i read some where that the JCW tuning package helps out with that a lot. Also Mini says that you can get better fuel economy witht the tuning package as well. So when you are looking for mini coopers for sale you have to look at that too.
Mini came out with a new generation of coopers in 2007. The inside is a lot nicer, the sound system is nicer, it feels like more of a daily driver. The cooper model has 118 Hp 3 more Hp than the 1st generation. The Cooper S model has 172 Hp and instead of a supercharger it has a turbocharger on it. Mini also came out with the Cooper S John Cooper Works. This is not a tuning package it is an actual car. It has 211 Hp. So if you have the money I would get that one. It is SWEET!!!
Mini's are acutally made by BMW. Therefore they are really well made cars. I once was fooling around and went 120 MPH and it felt like it could do a lot more than that. I think that is a good way to find out if the car is a good one.
Mini cooper for sale. When you are looking for a mini cooper for sale you always want to look for cruise control. Some of the base base model didnt have it. Also on the first generation some had stereo buttons on the back of there stering wheel and the 2nd generation they have them on the front. The hood latch is on the the passager site of the mini cooper for sale. Open the hood and look for the coolant resirvour. See if it is leaking if it is it may over heat and you would have to replace that $30 part. If you are looking at a mini cooper for sale and it has lether in it but it is not the same color as the outside of the car then really it is mini's letherette. It is a fake lether and it doesn't last as long. So watch out for that.
